I have been married for 30 years. In that time, I have been blessed with 6 daughters and 2 sons. With each child, I experienced very different pregnancies and births. I have been married for 30 years. In that time, I have been blessed with 6 daughters and 2 sons. With each child, I experienced very different pregnancies and births. My children have been born in a hospital and at home, with an epidural and through unmedicated births, in the water, and through the process of adoption.
Midwifery, in a professional role, has been a large part of my life for more than 14 years. I have learned the definition of “midwife” is derived from two words: mid (meaning with) and wife, (meaning woman). As a Certified Professional Midwife, I desire to reflect that meaning and to be with you during this exciting and wonderful time of pregnancy and birth.
I will walk you through the process and empower you to be confident in trusting your body to do what it was created to do. Whether this is your first baby or your tenth, each pregnancy is an individually unique experience. I believe every woman deserves the opportunity to birth in the environment she chooses, surrounded by loving and capable attendants.

I am mom to three wonderful children – Everly, Elora, and Eli – and wife to Bobby, my husband of 14 years. I am a 4th year student at Mercy in Action College of Midwifery and began my apprenticeship with Melinda in the fall of 2021. After taking a break for maternity leave in 2022, I rejoined Melinda as her student in March of 2023. I am passionate about educating mothers and walking alongside families as they welcome their babies.
